A lovingly decorated historic home in a quiet neighborhood of museums and Victorian houses. Our cottage home is a spacious 2400 sq ft and has covered porches on 3 sides. Located close to antique stores, restaurants, banks and the large, new library. Walk to beautiful Spring Bayou with its landscaped seawalls. Dolphins and manatees can be seen here too and even the rare Bald Eagle sometimes makes an appearance. Beside the bayou is Craig Park, which has tennis courts, a small museum and stunning, massive oak trees the kids can climb into. It's a two block walk to the Pinellas Trail for jogging and running. A 15 minute walk gets you to the historic Sponge Docks along the Anclote River and the Greek Village. Here you'll find boat tours, quaint little shops and delicious Greek food in street & riverfront restaurants and cafes. Area beaches are all about 15 minutes away by car. Grapefruit, avocado and mango trees provide our guests with fruits (in season). Our cottage has ample room for family gatherings or sweet privacy. Our 350+/- DVD and video tape library is another plus for guests wishing a quiet night at home. There are toys & books for the kids and a large yard. The house was built in 1904 and both renovated and added on to within the past 5 years. Despite its age the house has all the conveniences today's vacationer could want.. Plus the good feelings age comforting spirit of a house well and happily lived in. |
